Changes and Updates on Addis Ababa University (AAU) Masters 2020/21 LLM entrance examination

Addis Ababa University, College of Law and Governance has made changes to location of entrance examination for LL.M candidates for the acadamic year 2020/21. You can read the email sent by the faculty below.
“Dear applicants, Please note the following instructions for the upcoming LL.M entrance examination (Dec. 5, 2020):
1. Venue for the exam: Sidist Kilo FBE campus conference hall (use the gate at the Egyptian Embassy). We don’t guarantee parking inside campus.
2. Exam starts sharp at 9:00 AM. You are not allowed to leave the examination hall within 30 minutes of kick off.
3. You have to collect examination code at 8: 30 AM (the registrar will hand out  examinee code at the gate of the examination hall).
4.  The exam is paper based and you have to bring a writing pen; answer sheets will be provided by the School.
5. Cell phones and other communication and copying gadgets are not allowed into examination halls at all.
6. We are working everything possible to make available computer laboratory for visually impaired students and we will continue our efforts until the last minute before the exam. In the meantime we advise visually impaired students to arrange their own exam assistants to read questions and type answers.   Visually impaired applicants can submit computer typed answers for subjective essay-type questions. We do not provide soft copies of exam questions on personal computers.
8. examination is prepared for all fields of specialization (Business law, human rights law, constitutional and public law, public international law, and urban land law). Answers will not be marked if you switch departments (except those who have been given prior authorization by GC).
7.  Those who are not admitted in their department of first choice will be given second choice in other streams (on a competitive basis) depending on availability of space. (The School will announce available spaces once results are known).”
